I’m a freelance podcast producer specialising in narrative and documentary projects.

As a freelancer I’ve worked on projects with some of the top names in UK audio, such as BBC Radio Four, Audible, Novel, Somethin’ Else and ITN Productions. I have ten years of experience as an audio producer in total, including time on staff at women’s website The Pool (now defunct) and then newsroom Tortoise.

I’m also a member of Kate Taylor’s Feast Collective, a freelance producers network that encourages supportive working.

I cover all stages of the production process, from pitching and development through to researching, recording, interviewing, editing, sound design and mixing. My favourite stage is usually scripting – when you get to create characters and suspense, and pull magic bits of your interviews together with actuality and voiceover to tell the story.

I love getting to work on projects that have some kind of feminist angle to them, and have been told that my super power is being able to bring a lightness of touch to even the densest of materials. I also pride myself on my voiceover production skills, and my ability to manage difficult or nervous talent.

Take a look at the ‘podcasts’ tab for a bit more detail on the projects I’ve produced, and get in touch with me.
